Photography shoot

 

Today I arranged to gather as a group to shoot images for the social media page, however only Alexa from my group turned up and two band members. This meant our shots were very much restricted as we only had two band members.  To help organise our shoot and use the time productively Pandora and I in class walked around school photographing potential locations for shoots. We needed shots were it did not seem it was in school and rushed hence this process. We still needed to include this hippie psychedelic images therefore we found locations including wooden panels which almost suggests a beach. We also selected locations which felt as if it was at a concert with musical instruments. Doing this before the shoot held massively as I was able to plan which locations would be best suited to which band members making it efficient and easier to achieve the shots we wanted in the short time period we had. 

These are the best images which I took with Alexa of David and Oscar. The shoot went well as a first shoot as it gave us a good idea of what we need to do and the preparation required. However the band members did nit bring a change of clothes which limited us to a few shots which we could use as we do not want them wearing the same outfit in images. This meant we switched around out clothes with each other and took of different jackets and switched tops meaning we could get more potential shots.

These pictures have turned out good for the social media as we have taken both relaxed images then we did a posey image which has elements of professional to it. Towards the end of the shoot using Alexa and I we photographed our selves using shadows to pretend we are the full band. This worked well and gives the impression of the whole band taking an image together.
