creating posters

Using photoshop I created a graphic poster, as when I made this I did not have many photographs of the whole band together. Therefore I wanted to just create a poster without any images but just text filling the page. I used the same font as to what I created previously as the unique font. This required converting the text to a shape then making it bend round each other. This is very much psychedelic as there is lots of text which creates more of an impact with the bends in the text. 

This is the final poster I made to be used as just a post on the instagram. I think the poster is very effective as it represents the bands style clearly through the design of it. It also is very engaging through the colours used, as I used contrasting colours with a blue background putting more emphasis on the bold yellow text. I also used the band name first and made it almost straight as everything else is curvy this draws you into the band name. I then used a thing yellow boarder as a more aesthetic design element, and in using this it highlights the text inside the area.
