Nomination poster

How I created it: To do this I used photoshop and produced a nomination poster this was to add to the bands social media as it will show that they are professional and successful. This poster is an element to the social media which yet we have not included and another interesting element. To do this I used Adobe illustrator to create a template using the shapes and lines tool to construct a similar box in which the image will be placed in. I added text using a similar colour palette to the reference image.

Why I created this outcome: This is the reference image I used to create this poster, I selected this image by using the band Bombay bicycle clubs instagram. This band is very much similar to our band in their style and genre of music they perform, therefore I looked on their instagram and found this image. I have seen multiple various nomination posters when looking at other bands instagrams however this particular one stood out to me the most simply of the bold colours used and design it displays. It captures ones attention and shows their style in this poster clearly with the fun vibrant colours and text.

Final outcome: This is the final image I created using my reference image as an example of what I should produce. I think this is very effective through the design the poster holds as it captures your attention. It also clearly represents the bands vibe through the colours as they are fun and somewhat psychedelic. For the image in the centre I used a picture Alexa took in the studio with me, I used this as the quality is at a high standard showing the professional aspect to them, it also has the whole band in with a simple background which works well.
